Hi. My name is Nils Jeppe, and I too, am an IT geek.

Or rather, I used to be. I worked as a Tech Support Guy, System Administrator and Systems Engineer for 13 years; among my employers were n@work, Lufthansa Systems, Cisco / Ironport, and now Interoute Germany GmbH.

Nowadays I am a Service- and Project Manager, but that hasn’t changed the fact that I am a geek at the core.

Even though I do not tackle system setups or troubleshooting in my daily life anymore, I still run my own infrastructure. And taking care of them sometimes leads to trying out new things or finding interesting problems. And if they are interesting to me, I will publish them here in the future – basically feeding solutions into Google for others to find them.
